The WETA Movie: Oklahoma!

Fred Zinneman's 1955 adaptation of the Rogers and Hammerstein musical stars Gordon MacRae, Shirley Jones, Gloria Grahame and Rod Steiger. Set in the Oklahoma territory at the turn of the 20th century, the story follows two young cowboys who vie with a malevolent ranch hand and a traveling peddler for the hearts of the women they love.
