Learning Media (Brainline.org)
Learning Objectives:
Gain advanced knowledge of media creation tools
Work in a professional work environment as a member of the web team
Gain an understanding of issues surrounding brain injury and developing accessibility solutions for various disabilities
Learn and implement basic project management skills working within the update cycle of a large website
Projects:
Participation in media projects for Brainline.org including, but not limited to the following:
Expanding Brainline.org’s social networking presence
on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Youtube
Research appropriate photographs for the websites content pieces
Assist with video editing, lighting and recording video
Assist in development of various Flash and Javascript based web projects
Qualifications:
Three years of college with a preferred major in Media Arts and Design
Excellent writing and editing skills
Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
Interest in issues related to brain injuries
Familiarity with managing social networking platforms for a large website
Basic knowledge of Adobe Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, iMovie, and Final Cut Pro.
Apple Final Cut Pro experience helpful
