Learning Objectives:
Gain experience in producing web pages.
Gain knowledge on learning disabilities.
Projects:
Coding and proofing various materials for 3 major educational websites.
Logging and reviewing footage for PBS television program.
Managing inventory and aiding in marketing for online store.
Writing and summarizing material for the Web.
Researching various topics utilizing the Web.
Various other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
One year of college with a preferred major in English or Marketing.
Comfort with HTML; other coding languages helpful, but not required.
Familiarity with the Web and how to use it for research purposes.
Interest in marketing and some experience preferred.
Comfort with editing and proofreading various written materials.
Customer service experience.
Ability to write clearly and concisely, following standard grammatical rules.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team environment.
Spanish skills a plus.
