Learning Objectives:

  • Gain exposure to activities involved in project development and how projects evolve into public television programming, dealing with many departments and working on such series as those by Ken Burns, In Performance at the White House, and many other interesting projects.

Projects:

  • Assist with project development in various stages. Specific duties will be outlined upon joining WETA based on projects currently under way.

Qualifications:

  • College student or recent college graduate.
  • Strong understanding and application of computer technology to efficiently accomplish work, using Microsoft Office programs, email, and Internet.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of public broadcasting a plus.
