About Internships with WETA

WETA internships are designed to help full-time college students expand their knowledge and experiences in public radio, television, and online services, to complement their major fields of study.

The WETA Student Internship Program is not an employment program. It offers no compensation. WETA may assist interns with transportation expenses, if funds are available. Students are responsible for making their own housing arrangements.

WETA internships are available in many different facets of the station: administration, educational outreach, fund-raising, marketing, online services, productions, program development, public information, and radio. Selections for interns are based on matching students' interests with available assignments. Internships generally last three months. They may be full-time or part-time.
