Situated off of Wisconsin Avenue, Glover Park has had a historical presence since the late
19th Century, and was considered an upscale alternative to the then-squalor of Georgetown
in the 1920s when major development commenced. The community retained its middle-class
neighborhood feel and today Glover Park is known for its low crime rate, young population
and flourishing retail district.
