A Thanksgiving tradition on Classical WETA! Listeners vote for their favorite classical music pieces of the last 400 years. We tally the votes and play the top 90 pieces in reverse order during Thanksgiving week.
CD Pick of the Week
Classical WETA 90.9 FM showcases notable new (or newly reissued) CDs each week. Hear selections from the CD on-air throughout the week, and check online to learn more about the artist and the music.
Choral Showcase
Tune in on Sundays at 9:00 pm for a wide variety of classical choral music from Washington and beyond — from perennial favorites to new discoveries, from Gregorian Chant to the present. Programmed by Classical WETA Music Director, David Ginder.

Tune in on Mondays at 9:00 pm for classical performances by top local musicians and ensembles, recorded at venues throughout the Washington area.
NSO Showcase
Tune in for Classical WETA's ongoing series featuring performances from the National Symphony Orchestra. NSO Showcase is hosted by Classical WETA's on-air host John Chester.
Opera House
Classical WETA is Washington's home for opera year round. From December through May, experience the power and passion of the Metropolitan Opera. The rest of the year features performances from leading opera houses around the world, including Washington National Opera.
Theme Month
Each month, Classical WETA 90.9 FM selects a month long focus. Throughout the month, we will feature music related to our selection throughout the daily playlist and in our regular features, including Choral Showcase and Theme Weekends.
Theme Weekends
Listen each weekend as Classical WETA 90.9 FM focuses on a particular theme in classical music, playing related musical selections once per hour from noon on Fridays through Sunday evenings. Check online starting on Fridays to learn more about each new theme weekend.
