Poulenc Trio

The Baltimore-based Poulenc Trio performs at The Barns at Wolf Trap April 10, 2015 at 8 pm.  Their program includes Beethoven's Piano Trio, Op.11 "Gassenhauer", Alfred Schnittke's Suite in the Old Style, Op.28 with readings by poet Lia Purpura from her book It Shouldn't have Been Beautiful, and the finale "Jaunty" from Andre Previn's Trio for Piano, Oboe and Bassoon.  The second half of the concert features Triptico by Octavio Vasquez and their signature piece, Francis Poulenc's Trio for Oboe, Bassoon and Piano.
