Between Tides

As Washington welcomes the annual Cherry Blossom Festival, Front Row Washington offers "Between Tides," a recital celebrating 20th-century music from Japan. Recorded last October at the Freer Gallery of Art, the concert presents works that meld Western classical music influences with Japanese traditions and aesthetics.
