The New Yorker magazine compared Canadian baritone Gerald Finley to "the greatest singers, from Callas to Sinatra." Ann Midgette in a Washington Post review of Finley's Austrian Embassy recital wrote, "what he did was simply inhabit [the songs], with tremendous precision of detail, so that each one came alive, a small world of its own." Front Row Washington is proud to present Gerald Finley and Julius Drake in recital, recorded live at the Austrian Embassy, March 17, 2010, under the auspices of the Vocal Arts Society of Washington. The program features music by Schumann, Ravel, Barber and Ives.
