HARMONIOUS BLACKSMITH presents a holiday program from Dumbarton Oaks Museum, recorded December 6, 2010 by Classical WETA.

This lively ensemble presents New and Olde: Christmas from Two Worlds—Noëls, Carols and Villancicos from Europe and the Americas. The attractive, rhythmic music—both vocal and instrumental (violin, viola da gamba, recorders, lute, guitar, harpsichord, and percussion)—will delight the senses and gladden the heart. Composers include Thomas Ravenscroft, Michel Corrette, Tomás de Torrejón y Velasco, Nicolas Saboly, and others.
