Candlelight Concerts' Chamber Music Series in Columbia, MD presents a solo recital by the renowned pianist Menahem Pressler. Now 85 years old, Mr. Pressler was a founding member of the Beaux Arts Trio, which disbanded last August (2008) after a 53-year run. Mr. Pressler continues a busy solo career, including concertizing around the world and teaching at Indiana University, where he is Distinguished Professor of Music. This performance was recorded November 29, 2008 by Classical WETA’s Bruce Cain.
