Front Row Washington presents The Osiris Trio in their recent Dumbarton Concerts debut. Hailing from Amsterdam and led by Concertgebouw Concert Master Vesko Eshkenazy, they perform Beethoven's masterpiece, the Piano Trio No.7 in B-flat, Op.97 "Archduke", widely recognized as the greatest work ever composed for piano trio. Also featured in this recital are Beethoven's Piano Trio No.8 in B-flat, WoO 39, Three Nocturnes by Ernest Bloch, and, just in time for St. Patrick's Day, Frank Martin's Piano Trio on Irish Folk Tunes.
