The National Gallery of Art presents the Vilnius String Quartet. Formed in 1965, the quartet travels around the world representing the musical culture of Lithuania. Over fifty Lithuanian composers have dedicated their works to the Vilnius quartet. This performance was recorded January 13, 2008 at the National Gallery’s West Garden Court.
