The Ying Quartet

Front Row Washington welcomes the Ying Quartet on for a recital presented by Candlelight Concert Society at the Horowitz Center for Performing Arts in Columbia, Maryland.  The program offers a nod to our Mozart Month celebration with Mozart's Quartet in E-flat Major, K. 428.   As quartet-in-residence at the Eastman School of Music, the Ying Quartet commissions new works, including two featured in this concert.

Now in its second decade, the Ying Quartet welcomed a new violinist, Ayano Ninomiya, in May, 2010 to fill the chair of original first violinist of the all-sibling quartet, Timothy Ying.
