This week's Front Row Washington concert features Dame Felicity Lott, soprano and Graham Johnson, piano, recorded May 7, 2008 at the Embassy of Austria.
Dame Felicity Lott, a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music as well as Officier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and Chevalier de l’Ordre National de la Légion d’Honneur, is internationally known as an interpreter of the great roles of Mozart and Strauss. She has performed with the world’s preeminent opera houses and orchestras, from Paris and Vienna to New York and Chicago. A founding member of The Songmakers’ Almanac, Dame Felicity has also appeared on recital stages throughout the world.
