WETA launched this blog in January as a way to inform listeners about changes to 90.9 FM and to solicit your opinions and suggestions. Over the past three months, we’ve received much valuable feedback which we will draw upon as we continue to build the new Classical WETA. We thank everyone who participated during this open comment period.
As we move forward, WETA’s critic-at-large Jens F. Laurson will continue to post on this website his knowledgable reviews of classical concerts in the Washington area, reviews of new CD releases, as well as “library building” suggestions for CDs to include when starting a personal classical music collection.
Please stay with us online and on the air and watch our progress as we add new features to our website and new programming on Washington’s radio home for classical music. The main Classical WETA website at classicalweta.org will continue to include daily playlists and information about 90.9 FM.
