Cyberchase

Three Earth, (L to R) Jackie, Inez and Matt, are summoned into cyberspace on a mission to defeat the evil fiend Hacker, who is on a mad quest to take over the cyberworld.

Cyberchase is an animated adventure series about a team of kids on exciting missions in cyberspace. To thwart the evil villain, the heroes have to use brain power and math skills. As they travel to fantastical cyber-sites, the kids learn that math is fun, math is about problem-solving, and boy, does it come in handy! For children 8 to 11 years old.

Program description

Cyberchase is an animated adventure series about a team of kids on exciting missions in cyberspace. To thwart the evil villain, the heroes have to use brain power and math skills. As they travel to fantastical cyber-sites, the kids learn that math is fun, math is about problem-solving, and boy, does it come in handy!

Each episode of Cyberchase emphasizes one "big math idea," revealed through several scenarios. The format helps viewers develop an understanding of the concept through various approaches to the same idea.

Helping Kids in School

During the adventures, the heroes grapple with the same social issues all kids encounter: learning to be team players, dealing with peer pressure, respecting one another's differences and more. The program also makes meaningful connections between math, other disciplines and a child's own world.
