François-Frédéric Guy is an established pianist of immense interpretative authority and superlative technique, especially admired in music of the Austro-German tradition. He has performed as soloist with orchestras such as the San Francisco and Berlin Symphonies, Orchestre de Paris, and London Philharmonic with conductors that include Bernard Haitink and Michael Tilson Thomas.

With his exceptional command of the keyboard, he has made a specialty of works on the grandest scale, such as the major piano works of Brahms, the Liszt "B Minor Sonata," and Beethoven’s "Hammerklavier." His recording of this last work for Näive was recently declared the "best available" by BBC Radio’s "Building a Library."

He is now embarking on an important phase in his career - performing all the Beethoven sonatas and concertos around the world!
