The Ghost Story Tour of Washington

Washington DC's Oldest Costumed Ghost Tour featuring local actors as historic ghosts. "Meet" the spirits of Lafayette Square on this most unusual tour. Guess who your ghostly host is and win a prize! As we stroll to the most haunted Lafayette Square, you'll hear local lore from over 200 years of Washington hauntings plus recent (20th and 21st century) eyewitness accounts. Marvel as the ghosts regale you with their tragic tales including the haunting of the Hay Adams Hotel, Edgar A. Poe's unfortunate Washington visit, Decatur House stories, White House disturbances and much more. As seen in The Washington Post, DCist and more. No tricks on this tour, only treats. The Ghostly hostess will have the Ghost tour sign and haunted solar (she's an eco ghost) lantern. Tickets online at or at the ghost. $12 adults, $ 6 for under 16, accessible and fun. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Fridays and Saturdays in October at 8:00pm. Meets at McPherson Square Metro exit at Vermont and I (eye) St NW (858 Vermont Avenue NW) Sponsored by Natalie Zanin.
