Russian National Ballet Theatre: Swan Lake

This esteemed Russian company brings to our stage one of the most magical and well-known works from the classical ballet repertoire. This stunning fantasy ballet is inspired by the German legend of Odette, a beautiful princess turned into a swan at the hand of an evil sorcerer. With majestic choreography by Petipa, unforgettable score by Tchaikovsky, and exquisite costumes and sets, it is easy to see why Swan Lake continues to earn the adoration of classical ballet enthusiasts and attract newcomers to this magnificent art form. This extraordinary company was founded in 1994 by Elena Radchenko, legendary principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet, and is dedicated to preserving the grand ballet traditions while nurturing young dancers throughout Russia.
