Sculpted shapes, plastic bags, paper and sticks are transformed by the dancers in Fire & Ice, a light-hearted journey through a series of on-stage landscapes. The performance features a new work for Forty + a performing group of community based dancers past the age of 40, that plugs into the divine lyrics of motown classics and soul. Also on the program A Vivid Sense of Place, seen at VelocityDC Dance Festival, with original music by Steven Rogers.
Event begins at 4:00PM
