Dance Bethesda kicks off the weekend with an Open Studio Night featuring free lessons and parties at downtown Bethesda dance studios from 8-10:30 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2013. Participants can learn steps and see demonstrations. Studios hosting open houses include: Dance Bethesda Dance Studio offering salsa, rumba, social dancing, ballroom and Latin; Dansez! Dansez! teaching hip-hop, tap, folklore and salsa; Du-Shor Dance Studio offering salsa, swing and tango; Joy of Motion Dance Center offering Afrobeat, intro to jazz and intro to hip-hop (6:30-9:45pm); and The Mindfulness Center teaching Nia Dance.
