On Saturday March 2nd the spectacular music of the PULSE ensemble. Composed of pianists Alejandro Hernandez-Valdez and Grace Cho and percussionist Yun Park, will fill the sanctuary of Westmoreland Congregational United Church of Christ in Bethesda. The trio will perform Gustav Holst's masterpiece, "The Planets" and other works.
Formed in 2011, PULSE is a unique trio that inspires contemporary audiences through fresh, dynamic interpretations of music of the 20th and 21st centuries. PULSE's repertoire is mainly arranged by PULSE for PULSE.
The Westmoreland Music and Arts Committee invites you to hear this unique ensemble at its 7 p.m. program at the church, located at One Westmoreland Circle, Bethesda. A reception will follow the concert. There is no admission charge for the evening, but donations will be gratefully accepted for the Marie Reed Community Learning Center in Washington, D.C.
