Join CASA/Prince George’s County on 03/06/13 to learn about how you can become a Court Appointed Special Advocate Volunteer. CASA trains and matches community volunteers with children living in foster care. In about 12 hours per month, these volunteers spend time with their child and advocate for his or her proper care and placement in a safe, permanent home. To learn more about this volunteer opportunity, visit our website at www.pgcasa.org.
Potential volunteers must be 21 or older. Volunteers go through a screening process, complete 37 hours of training, and commit to advocate for their assigned child for one year.
Event begins at 6:00PM
