The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 reformed the way the federal government protects consumers by creating the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. RRUUC member Peggy Twohig, Assistant Director for Supervision Policy at CFPB, will discuss the challenges of creating a new federal agency and CFPB's work to better protect consumers of financial products and services.
