Bowen McCauley Dance presents a late-night performance featuring dance and rock music. “Lucy’s Local Playlist,” a contemporary dance performance inspired by the music of eleven Greater Washington, DC local bands/artists, brings exciting movement choreographed to original rock music.
Lucy Bowen, the self-described "ballerina with a rock habit," and her company reprise the hit contemporary dance concert, inspired by the tunes of DC metro area bands. Experience the music of Jason Moore, Imperial China, Cobra Collective, Derek Evry, DC Traffic, Taylor Carson, Sweet Interference, Crowd Scene, TONE and Godfather of Go-go, Chuck Brown, as the playlist for a choreographically diverse, high-energy concert. Look out for the final extended play -- Half Brother will play live for the show’s finale. Have a great night out of music and dance.
Tickets: $20 general, $15 student/seniors
The night continues as the Bowen McCauley dancers make their way to the neighborhood scene which includes 15% off your tab at TruOrleans with you ticket stub.
