In partnership with the Aspen Institute, we welcome former White House Chiefs of Staff representing six different Presidents to talk about 38 years of the Presidency. They will discuss job responsibilities, some of the things that happened on their respective watches, lessons learned, and personal recollections of the their time managing the White House including insights into how The White House has evolved over the last four decades. Moderated by David Gergen, former presidential advisor and Director of the Center for Public Leadership; panelists include former White House Chiefs of Staff Donald Rumsfeld, (1974–1975); Kenneth M Duberstein, (1988–1989); Thomas F. “Mack” McLarty, (1993-1994); John Podesta, (1998- 2001) and Joshua Bolten, (2006-2009). Acclaimed author and president and CEO of the Aspen Institute, Walter Issaacson will offer welcoming remarks. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
