Never before seen photos and "maps" of Albert Einstein's brain are now on display at the National Museum of Health and Medicine (NMHM). The exhibit "What Can We Learn from a Brain?" also features microscopically-thin sections of Einstein's brain. The materials are from the collection of pathologist Dr. Thomas Harvey, who performed an autopsy on Einstein in 1955 and preserved his brain for study. Several years after Harvey died, his estate contributed Harvey's slides and related archival material to NMHM.
Event begins at 10:00AM
