Mezzo-soprano Patricia Green joins the Left Bank Concert Society for a performance of the powerfully evocative Poem, for soprano and chamber ensemble. The program also includes Walker’s early String Quartet No. 1; Dina Koston’s Duo in Two Parts, for violin and piano; and Johannes Brahms’ magnificent String Quintet in G Major, Op. 111.

The World Premiere of Walker’s "Bleu," for solo violin, will be performed by his son Gregory Walker at the pre-concert lecture at 6:15 pm.
