In celebration of Law Day, you are invited to attend a free lecture on Abraham Lincoln, “How a Railroad Lawyer Became the Great Emancipator.” Professor Paul Finkelman will speak at 7:30 pm on Wednesday May 1 at T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria. A reception will follow the lecture.
Professor Paul Finkelman is a Professor of Law and Public Policy, and Senior Fellow in the Government Law Center at Albany Law School. He is the author of over 150 scholarly articles and 30 books and has written extensively on Thomas Jefferson and on Abraham Lincoln.
T.C. Williams High School is located at 3330 King Street, in Alexandria, Virginia.
