Some of Capitol Hill's most classic homes will be on display Mothers' Day weekend at the 56th annual Capitol Hill House and Garden Tour, sponsored by the Capitol Hill Restoration Society. The tour features 12 homes built between the 1870's and early 1900s in the shadow of the US Capitol, as well as the newly renovated Capitol Hill Day School, and is a Mothers Day tradition with many families. Proceeds benefit historic preservation and community activities. The event begins with a twilight tour of homes Saturday 4-7 pm and continues Sunday noon to 5 pm.
