Join us at the Workhouse Arts Center, Lorton, VA as we host The Sixth Generation in concert. The Sixth Generation is a dynamic rock and roll band at the forefront of musical style from the late 1960s.
Formed in Michigan in 1966, the band was honored in 2011 when it was inducted into the Michigan Rock and Roll Legends hall of fame. Playing remakes of hits from the 1960s as well as original songs that Baby Boomers can readily identify with, the band performs across the Midwest and Mid Atlantic regions. Their crowd pleasing performances bring back fond memories for baby boomers and a surprising appreciation of good music for younger generations.
Performance will take place in the Rizer Pavilion, weather permitting. Seating is provided--but you are welcome to bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. Beer, wine and concessions will be sold onsite. No outside alcohol, please.
