Glorious music fills Verdi’s most popular opera, La traviata, a poignant love store about a woman who gives up her world to live for love. The Wolf Trap Opera Company and the National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by La Opera’s Grant Gershon, celebrate Verdi’s bicentennial birthday with a new production by San Francisco’s Opera director Jose Maria Condemi.
