Junior Historian Camp

Get ready to step into a time machine. Kids ages 9 to 12 learn about the nation's capital during 1800 to 1815 during Junior Historian Camp on July 14 - 18, 2014. Discover early Washington, DC, history through creative, fun ways, like art, architecture, archaeology, maps, music, museum, objects and more. Take field trips. Do a 19th century newscast. Dig a mock excavation. Make an exhibition. Spaces are still available. Junior Historian Camp is a partnership among DAR Museum, National Park Service President's Park, and The Octagon Museum.
