For a second year, DC Shorts and SpeakeasyDC have combined forces for the annual Speakeasy Shorts competition, a unique event that combines the art of storytelling with the craft of filmmaking in a two-weekend experience. Ten teams of filmmakers will be assigned to ten storytellers to create short films based on original stories, all shot and produced in the District.
