Classical WETA supported a performance of Jules Massenet’s Werther at Lisner Auditorium. It was a memorable night of spectacular singing by four artists making their Washington Concert Opera debuts. Classical WETA helped celebrate William Shakespeare's 447th birthday at Folger Shakespeare Library- home of the world’s largest Shakespeare collection. Classical WETA evening host Nicole Lacroix hosted events in the Old Reading Room including performances by the Classical WETA Players, a group of professional string musicians.
