Classical WETA helped celebrate William Shakespeare's 447th birthday at Folger Shakespeare Library- home of the world’s largest Shakespeare collection. Classical WETA evening host Nicole Lacroix hosted events in the Old Reading Room including performances by the Classical WETA Players, a group of professional string musicians.

Included in the celebration were crafts, performances, behind-the-scenes tours and conversations, games, a parade, and birthday cake for all. A Classical WETA promotions team was on site with giveaways and station information.
