Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. (NYSE: MSO) and PBS presenting station WETA in Washington, D.C., announced the launch of "Everyday Food," a new television series that will air on PBS stations nationwide beginning this weekend (check local listings). The first season will consist of 26 weekly episodes.
The television program, offering quick, easy and practical solutions for preparing delicious everyday meals, brings to life Everyday Food magazine, the survival guide for home cooks that launched in September 2003. The portable, digest-sized publication, published 10 times a year, features recipes designed to take 30 minutes or less to prepare, that can be made in multiple size portions and use widely available supermarket ingredients. The "Everyday Food" television program and magazine will be supported by content, recipes and cooking tips on www.everydayfoodmag.com.
Each half-hour episode of "Everyday Food" is designed to provide solutions to the challenges of everyday cooking and includes easy-to-make recipes along with smart tips and kitchen techniques. "Everyday Food" is a production of Martha Stewart Living Television in association with WETA-TV Washington, D.C. The "Everyday Food" television show cast consists of five home-grown talents from the kitchens of Martha Stewart Living: John Barricelli, Sarah Carey, Allie Lewis, Margot Olshan, and Lucinda Scala Quinn. The program’s executive producers are Martha Stewart and Linda Corradina. Executive producers at WETA are Dalton Delan and John Potthast. Funding has been provided by Chrysler Town & Country, Glad Press and Seal, Trinity Oaks Wine and PAM No-Stick Cooking Spray.
