Their undocumented status, however, left them living in the shadows; and being deported haunted Angy's dreams. High-school graduation brought with it another issue: financial aid for college was beyond her reach. In time, she stepped into the light via an undocumented-youth advice column and YouTube. (She was eventually granted a visa as part of a program for sexual-abuse victims.)
