For more than four decades, WETA has offered the best in kids, lifestyle, and primetime programs to inspire, educate, and enrich viewers in the Washington area.
Up until recently, all of this variety has been on one channel and broadcast from a single analog transmitter.
Now, technical advances allow WETA to broadcast all of your favorite programs on four distinct television channels.
The four channels are WETA TV 26, WETA HD, WETA Create, and the WETA Kids Channel. Each offers the high quality programs you've come to expect — 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
See today's television schedule for each channel:
Our Channel Guide page includes information on what channel numbers to tune to.
Continuing a tradition of excellence in broadcasting which started in 1961, WETA offers four distinct digital television channels.
The nationwide digital transition occurred on June 12, 2009. If you receive television signals via a rooftop antenna or "rabbit ears" connected to an analog television set, you'll need to take steps to continue to watch television.
