Converter Boxes & Coupons

If you wish to keep using your analog TV set and do not wish to subscribe to a pay TV service after June 12, 2009, you'll need to purchase a digital TV converter box.

The box converts digital signals into a traditional analog signal. It plugs into your TV set (and you'll still use your antenna). The converter box comes with installation instructions.

How many converter boxes do I need?

The ratio is always 1:1 — one converter box to one analog TV that isn't connected to a pay TV service. Every set that requires an antenna to get a TV signal today and does not have a digital tuner will require a converter box to get a TV signal after June 12, 2009.
