WETA Around Town video segments are broadcast on TV 26 in between programs, nightly prior to the 7:00 pm program, and weeknights prior to Charlie Rose.

Joe Barber passed away from natural causes on September 19, 2011. Joe had been part of Around Town since 1994, and also worked on a variety of other projects with WETA television and radio over the years. WETA is incredibly saddened at the news and extends its condolences to Joe's family and friends. Rest in peace, Joe. You will be missed.
