Film - A Whisper to a Roar

In partnership with the National Endowment for Democracy, the Charles Guggenheim Center for Documentary Film presents A Whisper to a Roar, which tells the heroic stories of courageous democracy activists in five countries around the world – Egypt, Malaysia, Ukraine, Venezuela and Zimbabwe. (2012; 94 minutes) Following the screening, there will be Q&A with Larry Diamond, Director of Stanford University’s Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law, whose books and lifework inspired the film, and the film’s writer/producer/director Ben Moses, best known as creator and co-producer of the 1987 feature film, Good Morning, Vietnam.
