Second Mondays Lecture Series at Wesley Theological Seminary

Well-crafted introductions set the stage, build a framework, and provide a sense of direction. The focus of The Second Mondays Lecture Series for Spring 2013 will be an Introduction to Theological Education. Each of our guest speakers will open a door to the thought world of seminary. Join us on Monday, January 14, 2013 for a lecture by Shaun Casey, Professor of Christian Ethics at Wesley Theological Seminary. Professor Casey has served as a consultant on religious issues in several campaigns, including the first Obama for President campaign, and is a frequent commentator on the role of religion in public discourse. With the general election just past and the inauguration just one week following his Second Mondays presentation, his topic, “An Introduction to Christian Ethics – Inside the Beltway,” is timely and relevant. Join us for breakfast, a stimulating presentation and lively conversation. We will meet from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. on Wesley’s main campus at 4500 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W. Washington, DC 20016.
