Cinco de Mayo (on the 4th)

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in an unconventional way (on May 4!) with live mariachi music by Mariachi Los Amigos and folkloric dancing by Los Quetzales Mexican Dance Ensemble. Mariachi Los Amigos is known for its “straight-ahead” mariachi sound, which it shares with delighted audiences attending a variety of events, ranging from baptisms and quinceañeras to presidential state dinners and inaugurations. Los Quetzales Mexican Dance Ensemble—under the direction of internationally acclaimed dancer Laura Ortiz—is Northern Virginia’s premier Mexican folkloric performing company, with a repertoire of dance, ranging from pre-hispanic danzas to the danzas, dramas, and rituals of Jalisco, Michoacán, Nayarit, Veracruz Huasteco and Jarocho, Yucatan, Chiapas and Chihuahua.
The price for admission is $10 at the door. Children 11 and under are admitted free.
