National Capitol Choir Festival Final Concert

National Capitol Choir Festival Final Concert featuring 4 outstanding choirs, from Kansas and New Jersey, combining with local professional musicians under the direction of Dr. John Leavitt.

This event will also feature music written and/or arranged by John Leavitt. The program will reflect on our history as Americans and feature great spirituals and folksongs native to our country.

Tickets: $20 Adults and $15 Students/Seniors

John Leavitt is a composer, conductor, teacher, and church musician, whose music continues to captivate listeners and musicians of all ages. Currently, he serves on the faculty of MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, KS as professor of music and director of choirs. An extraordinary composer, performer, and clinician for church and school music literature, Leavitt continues to teach, lecture, and guest conduct numerous workshops, festivals, and symposia. He continues to serve as a regular guest conductor in major venues throughout the United States including New York's Carnegie Hall. His compositions are represented in nearly every major music catalog in this country.
