Peru has also turned into a hotspot despite early measures to control the virus; there’s an exodus from Lima, of those unable to pay rent or feed themselves. Decades later in the NFL, Colin Kaepernick took a knee during the national anthem to protest police killings of unarmed black Americans. He hasn’t played since.
