50 years ago this month, The Doors played its final show in New Orleans. For the band's drummer, John Densmore, the ensuing years have been a continued artistic exploration - one that has included music, but also an examination into the meaning of creative fulfillment. He spoke with NewsHour Weekend’s Christopher Booker about his new book, “The Seekers.”

NewsHour Weekend has been bringing you personal stories from members of Indigenous communities in Canada’s Northwest Territory--this week, we hear from Devin Hinchey, who is Métis, or of mixed Indigenous and European ancestry, as he shares his journey from addiction to recovery. The documentaries address difficult topics within the community as part of a series called "Turning Points."

While much attention has been given to approving a COVID-19 vaccine, there's been little paid to the facilities where many vaccines are manufactured. A recent investigation in Vanity Fair features a former FDA inspector turned whistleblower who says that the FDA is not doing its job. Vanity Fair Contributing Editor Katherine Eban, the author of the piece, joins Hari Sreenivasan to discuss.
